Accurate Learning Systems Corporation announced new assessment features are now included in all MathScore home subscriptions, providing parents with a fast, clear assessment of student skills critical for future Algebra I success.

Now for the first time, dynamic online features that adjust to student skills help parents quickly identify their child’s understanding of core math skills, measure progress made, and recommend the next core skill. MathScore’s new assessment features are integrated into the MathScore math practice environment to provide direct access to the next math practice topic to be mastered. Subscriptions for unlimited use of MathScore, including the new assessment features, are available today starting at $19.95 per month for the first student.

“The new assessment features in the MathScore Home Version enable parents to gain a crystal clear picture of current proficiency and what their child should work on next,” explained Steven Yang, founder and CEO of Accurate Learning Systems Corporation. “We’ve noticed that parents appreciate significant help to guide their students on a learning path. MathScore’s assessment features automate that task with personalized topic recommendations.”

MathScore’s assessment capabilities identify each child’s strengths and weaknesses with core math skills on the path to Algebra I readiness. Its dynamic tests adapt difficulty based on student performance, allowing parents to quickly determine precise skill proficiency. Designed to assess skills typical for 4th grade through Algebra I, MathScore’s assessment helps steer the learning approach for each individual student. Recommended topics for practice are highlighted within the MathScore practice environment.

“Based on the results from thousands of MathScore students, we estimate that less than 50% of all 8th graders are solid with multiplication facts,” Yang continued. “The new MathScore assessment features diagnose precise core skills, recommend the topics to practice and help parents make sure their child is one of those who are prepared.”

In addition, the MathScore assessment features can be used to check the progress of a child, and actually visually identifies the progress made since the last check. The integration between testing and practicing makes MathScore the most efficient math practice system available on the market today. Test topics include addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, long multiplication and long division, fractions, and percentages.

MathScore helps students become better at math by providing unlimited, adaptive math practice. Developed by MIT graduates, MathScore is proven to raise test scores and trusted by schools and individual families worldwide. MathScore is appropriate for first grade through Algebra I. This latest version with assessment features integrated into the MathScore practice environment provides automated remediation, enabling efficient differentiated instruction with minimal teacher effort.
