3,700 fewer jobs in IDA-supported companies

The IDA has reported a net loss of 3,700 jobs last year in companies that it supports.
In its annual report for 2008, the authority says IDA-backed investments helped create 2,300 jobs during 2008.
However, companies backed by the IDA also cut 6,000 jobs during the year.
